Be aware of "phishing"
Phishing is a technique that attempts to deceive people into revealing their security details such as online login or bank account information. It usually begins with a bogus email asking for security details or directs clients to a counterfeit or cloned website. ‘Phished’ information is then used to commit fraud.
Please note that Kleinwort Benson never sends emails that ask for confidential information or asks for account details to be given online.
If you receive an email that asks for your security details, do not reply or follow the instructions. Please immediately notify your usual representative or forward the email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only individuals who have authorised access should proceed beyond this point. For the security of clients, any unauthorised attempt to access client information will be monitored and may be subject to legal action.
